These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the website oceanorthodonticclinic.co.uk and your relationship with Ocean Orthodontic Clinic as a patient or prospective patient.
Ocean Orthodontic Clinic is registered with the General Dental Council (GDC). Our principal orthodontist, Dr Mustafa, is listed on the GDC Specialist List in Orthodontics (GDC No. 105727).
Accepting These Terms
By using our website or attending our clinic, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
These terms apply to all patients, website visitors, and anyone who contacts us for information. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Our Services
Ocean Orthodontic Clinic provides specialist orthodontic treatment services including, but not limited to:
- Invisalign® clear aligner treatment
- Clear (ceramic) fixed braces
- Metal fixed braces
- Children’s orthodontics
- Adult orthodontics
- Retainers
All clinical services are provided by or under the supervision of a GDC-registered specialist orthodontist. We do not guarantee any specific clinical outcome, as results vary between patients depending on individual circumstances, compliance with treatment instructions, and clinical complexity.

Appointments & Cancellations
Booking Appointments
Appointments can be booked by telephone, email, or via our online booking form. A booking is confirmed only once you have received written or verbal confirmation from our team.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. We request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations wherever possible. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments without notice may affect your ability to book future appointments at the clinic.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive significantly late for an appointment, we may need to reschedule your visit to ensure all patients receive their full allocated time. We will always do our best to accommodate you where clinic schedules allow.
Treatment Plans & Consent
Treatment Plans
Following your consultation, we will provide you with a written treatment plan setting out the proposed treatment, estimated duration, associated costs, and any relevant risks or alternatives. Treatment will not begin until you have had the opportunity to review this plan and provided your written consent.
Informed Consent
All treatment at Ocean Orthodontic Clinic is carried out on the basis of your informed consent. You have the right to ask questions, request clarification, and withdraw consent at any point during your treatment. Please raise any concerns with Dr Mustafa or a member of the team at your earliest opportunity.
Patient Responsibility
The success of orthodontic treatment is significantly influenced by patient compliance. You are responsible for following all instructions provided — including wearing aligners or retainers for the prescribed number of hours, attending all scheduled appointments, maintaining good oral hygiene, and attending your general dentist regularly throughout treatment.
We cannot be held responsible for outcomes affected by non-compliance with our clinical instructions.
Fees & Payment
Treatment Fees
All fees will be clearly set out in your treatment plan before treatment begins. Fees are subject to change, but we will always notify you of any changes in advance and obtain your agreement before proceeding.
Payment Plans
We offer flexible payment plans to help spread the cost of treatment. The terms of any payment plan will be agreed with you in writing before treatment begins. Where a payment plan is in place, it is your responsibility to ensure payments are made on time.
Missed Payments
Failure to keep up with agreed payments may affect the continuation of your treatment. We will always endeavour to work with you to resolve any payment difficulties — please contact us as soon as possible if you are experiencing any issues.
Refunds
If treatment is discontinued for any reason, any refund due will be calculated based on the treatment completed to that point. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with applicable consumer rights legislation.

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use our website in any way that:
- Breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive in any way.

Patient before and after photographs and video testimonials are published with the express consent of the individuals concerned and may not be reproduced or shared without authorisation from both Ocean Orthodontic Clinic and the patient.
